"Keys to Bonhoeffer’s Haus: Exploring the World and Wisdom of Dietrich Bonhoeffer"
  • What this Book Group is.

    • Groups will use Keys to Bonhoeffer’s Haus: Exploring the World and Wisdom of Dietrich Bonhoeffer by Laura Fabrycky, as a basis for study, reflection, mutual sharing and support, and action planning. MCC will provide a discussion guide for the book. In late October, there will be an opportunity for all the groups to gather online for a debrief and possibly even a meeting with the author!
    • MCC will serve as a “matchmaker,” collecting names and meeting preferences from all who wish to join a group and then putting folks in touch with 4-10 others with whom they share preferences and/or geographic proximity.
    • The book groups will consist of 4+ people who commit to reading the book in its enirety and to meeting once, twice. three times or weekly either in person or online, to discuss. Groupd will meet between September 30 and October 30.
    • Each group must have a coordinator who will be the contact person for the Maine Council of Churches.
    • The Book groups can be a part of your church's Adult Ed Group, a book group you already belong to or a group that is created just for this book.
    • The form below will help guide you to a group that best suits your needs.
    • Registration will open until Septemebr 26. You can the book from the publisher, Broadleaf Books (Augsburg/Fortress Press), HERE and order your copy directly from them—even better, go to your local bookseller and ask them to order it for you.
