With regards to my attendance at Prosper Vancouver 2025 hosted by Prosper Foundation, I agree to this waiver and release. I fully understand, acknowledge, and agree to the following: 

 

If I am under 19 years of age, I acknowledge that I have received explicit consent from my parent or legal guardian to enter into this agreement. My parent or legal guardian and I both agree with and confirm to this waiver and release. If I am over 19 years of age, I confirm that I am legally capable of contracting in my own name.

I grant permission to Prosper Foundation (Vancouver), hereinafter known as "Prosper", and its members to use my image (photographs and/or video) for use in the Prosper's publications including videos and pamphlets to use my image (photographs and/or video) in electronic versions of the same publications or on the Prosper's website or other electronic forms of media, including social media.

I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished images (photographs and/or video) or electronic matter that may be used in conjunction with them now or in the future, whether that use is known to me or unknown. 

I grant permission to release Prosper and its members, directors, representatives, affiliates, sponsors, and volunteers ("Prosper Representatives") from any and all liability, claims, demands, negligence, actions, and causes of actions whatsoever for any loss, claim, damage, injury, illness, death, legal fees, or action arising out of my participation. 

In the event of an emergency, I give permission for my medical information to be released. By attending any Prosper event, I may be exposed to a variety of hazards and risks, foreseen and unforeseen, which may or may not be inherent in those events. These inherent risks include, but are not limited to: personal injury, property damage, and death from the hazards of exposure to public or private outings.

I agree and understand that injuries and damages can occur by natural causes or by the acts of other persons or third parties, either as a result of negligence or external factors, and acknowledge that I am personally responsible for all costs and/or risk associated with my attendance.

I will follow any and all guidelines outlined by Prosper in regards to any event I attend, including the maintenance of a strict zero tolerance policy prohibiting any and all actions, objects, and substances that are deemed illegal or illegal in the presence of minors by the Governments of Canada, the Province of British Columbia, the City of Vancouver, and any other municipal bodies or school authorities. 

Neither the event organizer nor anyone working for Prosper is responsible for any personal item or property that is lost, damaged or stolen during the event. Prosper is not responsible for any damage caused to the premises of all the conference venues, including, but not limited to: damage or destruction of furniture, equipment, and facilities.

If I am staying overnight at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre, I acknowledge that Prosper Representatives may inspect hotel rooms or accommodations at any time to ensure compliance with all policies, including but not limited to those related to safety, health, and the prohibition of illegal substances, objects, or actions. This includes routine checks for any violations of the terms of this agreement. I agree to cooperate fully during such inspections.

I acknowledge the host or hosts of Prosper may refuse admittance or ask you to leave any event at any time for any justifiable reason, including but not limited to, causing a disturbance at the event, damaging venue property, consuming or bringing onto the premises any illegal substance, object, weapon, or material or any substance, object, weapon, or material illegal in the presence of minors and performing or influencing others to perform illegal actions. I also acknowledge the host or hosts of Prosper may conduct a security or health screening at the event during irregular time periods including but not limited to: disease outbreaks, rising fear of terrorism.

I fully understand that refunds or other considerations will not be granted for any reason except as provided for by Prosper policy and procedure, and agree that I may be expelled from the event at any time for violating this agreement with no expectation of refund. 

Should I fail to abide by these policies, I fully understand that I will not be allowed in the venue for the remainder of the event, and authorities will be contacted if deemed necessary by Prosper and/or its staff. 

I agree that this agreement is enforceable to the fullest extent of the law, and that any provisions herein found invalid as a matter of law will be deemed severable from the balance of the agreement.

Reminder: Due to the implementation of the Prosper360 app, you must input the same email as the one you used during registration in the box below. Failure to do so will result in check-in delays at Prosper 2025.
