I understand that if I want to compete in the Oceania Championships, or another such representative event, I need to hold an Australian passport, or I need to wait 3 years after transferring my BWF ID to Australia. (This international representation clause is outlined in BWF Statute 5.1. - General Competition Regulations, section 6, pages 19 - 20).
