2026 Scholarship Application
Rocky Credit Union supports the educational development of members through our scholarship program. Each year, we offer up to four $1000 scholarships in the following categories:
- 1 Business & Finance Scholarship
- 1 Member Academic Scholarship
- 1 Community Minded Scholarship
- 1 Apprenticeship & Trades Scholarship
To be eligible for a scholarship, you must be a Rocky Credit Union member in good standing, be either a 2025 or 2026 grade 12 graduate, and be entering your 1st year of a post-secondary program in Fall 2026.

Submit this scholarship application, your proof of acceptance into a post-secondary institution, your official transcripts (including at least your 1st semester marks and January provincial exam marks), and any letters of recommendation by May 31st, 2026. If you are chosen as a successful applicant, you will be required to submit proof of enrollment in your post-secondary institution before you are awarded the scholarship.

Scholarship Selection

You may be eligible for more than one scholarship category. Read the criteria and requirements below, then select which scholarship(s) you would like to be considered for.
Business & Finance Scholarship

Eligibility: Accepted into a post-secondary business or finance program (bachelor of commerce, business administration diploma, marketing, or other related subject).

Application Requirements:
- Completed application form
- Photocopy of official Alberta Learning transcripts, including any provincial exam marks. If you are graduating this year, we only require your first semester Grade 12 marks (must include January provincial exam marks)
- Proof of acceptance into a post-secondary institution
Member Academic Scholarship

Eligibility: Accepted into a post-secondary program. Have an academic average of 80% or higher.

Application Requirements:
- Completed application form
- One current letter of reference detailing community involvement
- One current letter of reference verifying school participation
- Photocopy of official Alberta Learning transcripts, including any provincial exam marks. If you are graduating this year, we only require your first semester Grade 12 marks (must include January provincial exam marks)
- Proof of acceptance into a post-secondary institution
Community Minded Scholarship

Eligibility: Accepted into a post-secondary program. Displays community involvement.

Application Requirements:
- Completed application form
- One current letter of reference detailing community involvement
- One current letter of reference verifying school participation
- Photocopy of official Alberta Learning transcripts, including any provincial exam marks. If you are graduating this year, we only require your first semester Grade 12 marks (must include January provincial exam marks)
- Proof of acceptance into a post-secondary institution
Apprenticeship & Trades Scholarship

Eligibility: Accepted into a post-secondary trades program or enrolled in an apprenticeship program.

Application Requirements:
- Completed application form
- One current letter of reference detailing community involvement
- One current letter of reference verifying school participation
- Photocopy of official Alberta Learning transcripts, including any provincial exam marks. If you are graduating this year, we only require your first semester Grade 12 marks (must include January provincial exam marks)
- Proof of acceptance into a post-secondary institution or enrollment in apprenticeship program
- Copy of latest apprenticeship report (if applicable)

After you submit this application form, the other documents we require (see above) can be emailed to us at community@rockycu.com.

This form and all other documents (transcripts, proof of acceptance, recommendation letters, etc.) are due on May 31st, 2026.
