Catalyst Study Hall's Board has given authority for all behavioral/disciplinary matters to the Director. In turn, the Director has delegated to the Staff the responsibility to administer discipline on a daily basis. Any person observing or having reliable information relating to a violation of the Code of Conduct may report verbally or in writing to the lead staff for investigation and further action. When warranted in the sole opinion of the staff, a search of a student's person, backpack, phone, car, athletic bag, purse, or other personal property may be conducted by Catalyst Study Hall staff. The Director is authorized to impose disciplinary sanctions, and holds the final decision on appeal. In the case of a serious offense leading to expulsion from the program, if in the opinion of the board, there is a material dispute about the facts of a case, or lack of clarity about the applicability of a policy, the Director may call for a hearing between the Academics Committee and the Board. Please initial below to indicate you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Tuition is $5500.00 per year ($550 a month). The cost of our program is significantly cheaper than many programs, including one-week summer day camps. There is a $275 discount for paying the full tuition upfront or in two half-year payments; a 5% discount for every sibling enrolled after your first child is available for families paying monthly. This form is to convey which option works best for you. If you choose the monthly payments option, please note that payments are due by the 15th of each month; this allows time for processing on our side by the end of the month.Catalyst Study Hall offers flexible attendance; however, once a student is enrolled in our program, full payment for each month is required, regardless of how many days your student attends. We do not prorate our fees.  If something arises where you need to withdraw your student from our program before the end of the school year, we ask that you provide us with at least 30 days notice.

When you enroll your student at Catalyst Hall, the program treats tuition as a legal financial obligation. Catalyst Study Hall creates a budget and makes financial decisions based on enrollment and the timely full payments of its members. If you are five (5) or more days late in making a payment, a charge of $75 will be added to your account. If your payment is returned due to insufficient funds or a stopped payment, pursuant to California Civil Code section 1719(a) you are liable for the full amount of the check plus a service charge of $25.00 for the first bounced check and $35.00 for each subsequent bounced check. If your account is 30 or more days past due, your student will be immediately unenrolled from our program, until your financial commitment is met. If you are late with your payments 3 or more times, you will be ineligible for re-enrollment in our program. If you encounter a financial hardship during the payment commitment time frame you made, please talk with office staff immediately. All information will be kept between you, the office staff, and the finance committee. No obligation is required by Catalyst Study Hall to provide discounts, scholarships, or write-offs to help families, but considerations will be made with the utmost respect and investment of prayer and family need. By signing below, you agree to the terms above, and acknowledge this constitutes a legal and binding agreement.

Catalyst Study Hall is a non-profit ministry that runs off of the hourly contributions of many people.  We have a 20-hour volunteer commitment for each family each school year that must be met. A buyout option is available for $20 an hour for partial hours or for $400 total. Please choose whether you will meet the hourly commitment or whether you would like a buyout option invoice sent to you. Extended families can meet these hourly obligations too. Choosing either of the options is an acknowledgment that you understand these terms and obligations.  Mid-year invoices will be sent during the month of January for families who have not completed 10+ hours in the first semester. Year-end invoices will be sent during the month of May for any outstanding volunteer hours. Please note, unpaid volunteer hour invoices may result in immediate withdrawal from our program until the invoice is paid.  Volunteer opportunities will come in the form of classroom hours, office hours, event help, board or committee volunteering, yard duty, grandparent-on-campus program, dads-on-campus security, fundraising facilitation, and facility maintenance.
