United States History Challenge Exam
U.S. History Exam: Satisfies the American Institutions (AI) requirements for knowledge of U.S. History. Please note there is a $10.00 fee for the exam. Only currently enrolled Sacramento State students can take the exam and can only take it once. Each exam is a 180-minute exam comprised of 2 essay questions (from a choice of three each) and 10 identification questions. No grades or units are awarded for passing the exams. History majors cannot take the challenge exam. HIST 17A & B (or their equivalent) are required for the major.
