Philoptochos sponsors many events that are not only fun for volunteers but support many philanthropic and charitable organizations as well as programs that benefit our parish. Any assistance you can provide is much appreciated. The event chairperson will contact you when the event planning begins to confirm your availability. 1) Host a Philoptochos Meeting - Gather a few of your friends to purchase snacks/refreshments (budget provided) for one of our General meetings. Help to organize/set-up/serve/clean-up.

2) Fall Coat Drive - Volunteers will help sort and deliver gently used coats.

5) Christmas Breakfast - A special Christmas breakfast after Liturgy with a visit from Santa. Volunteers are needed to organize, decorate, set-up, serve and/or clean-up.

10) Candles for Children - Each volunteer decorates 8-10 candles and/or assists with sales on Sundays in the weeks prior to Easter.

11) Lenten Dinner - This follows a Pre-Sanctified Liturgy. A pot-luck Lenten Dinner is served buffet style. Volunteers are needed to bring food and/or help by setting-up, serving and cleaning-up. 16) Graduate Sunday - This reception recognizes our Holy Apostles Graduates (Middle School through Postgraduates) immediately following the Divine Liturgy. Volunteers are needed to plan and assist with the coffee hour celebrating these honorees.

19) Pillars & Rocks - This program supports the seniors in our community. Volunteers can visit seniors at home, in nursing homes, deliver meals, help set-up/serve/clean-up at Koukla's Kafenio. Ongoing dates.
