Once you have submitted your audition details on this form, the LTC Production Manager will email you within 48 hours with your audition time. Times will be allocated in order of receipt of form. Please be sure to fill out this form completely including the upload of a current headshot.

- Upload a current headshot (required but does not need to be a professional headshot (a selfie will do), just a photo for the team to recognise you.

ELIGIBILITY FOR THE CAST:
Must be aged 16 years of age or older as at 1st January 2026.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
ALL AUDITIONEES: Anyone auditioning for “& Juliet” is required to attend the Open Dance Audition which will be held from 10am and the Individual Acting/Vocal Audition from 1pm onwards on Saturday 28th February 2026 at The Wings (Ronald Reserve Hall), Vary Street, Morwell.
The Audition Panel will identify those auditionees they would like to invite back for a Principal Audition which will be held on Sunday 1st March 2026 at The Wings, Ronald Reserve Hall, Vary St, Morwell. These auditionees will be emailed during the evening of Saturday 28th February 2026 with a Principal Audition time.
DANCE COMPONENT
The dance/movement component of the audition day will consist of a short warm up and then everyone will learn the same piece of movement. Dependent on numbers, it may be necessary to run more than one or two groups to learn the piece; once learned, auditionees will be placed in smaller groups for the actual dance audition. Auditionees should come dressed appropriately for movement, - runners or dance shoes (no shoes that can slip off), active wear or clothes you can move comfortably in. NO THONGS, SLIP-ON SHOES OR BARE FEET!
ACTING & VOCAL COMPONENT
Individual Acting/Vocal auditions will occur on Saturday afternoon from 1pm onwards. Every auditionee will be allocated an audition time (10 minutes) during which you are asked to present a song of your own choice.
It is recommended that you bring your own backing track that can be Bluetooth connected to a speaker during your audition to demonstrate your ability to perform at pitch. If you have piano music you would prefer to perform with, you will be welcome to email this through when booking your audition time.
During your individual audition you may also be asked to sing with the piano to check your range.
When booking an audition you will be provided with a link to a google drive which contains audition material for callbacks. If you prefer to choose one of these numbers to perform in your solo vocal audition you are welcome to - please select a song that really shows off your vocal ability and that you can ‘perform’. Selecting a song from the show will not fast-track you to a callback, We really need you to perform the song you can perform the best to show us what you’re made of!
Please come to the Auditions prepared. Please bring lunch and drinks with you.

IMPORTANT POINTS
After the initial audition:

Be available for Call Backs on Sunday 1st March December. You will be advised after your audition if you are required for Call Backs and at what time. Please do not dress in ‘character’.

All auditionees will be notified of outcome of their audition.

Everyone who auditions will receive an email sometime on Friday 6th March 2026.

Rehearsals are on Mondays & Thursdays (warmup at 6.45pm for 7pm ‑10.pm) and one Intensive Weekend per month (warmup at 9.45am for 10am - 5pm) at The Wings, Vary St, Morwell.

Fees are to be paid in full prior to the first scheduled rehearsal (Thursday 12th March 2026)
This fee includes insurance cover for each member, show levy,
supply of rehearsal materials (script, libretto, etc) and a Show top for this show
