"Liability Releases for Nondebtor Third Parties After Purdue Pharma"

The Hon. Jeffrey Deller will moderate, and the Hon. Laurel Isicoff, Prof. Ralph Brubaker, and Fellow Jamie Sprayregen will serve as panelists. All will discuss the continuing viability of various kinds of liability releases for nondebtors in the wake of the Supreme Court’s Purdue Pharma decision. The discussion will include insurance and successor-liability injunctions, exculpations, “full pay” releases, indemnity and contribution bar orders for settling defendants, consensual releases, and gatekeeper injunctions.
