Certification Renewal Form

Renewing credential holders must have completed a minimum of 24 credits of design and construction industry related professional development.  A minimum of 12 hours must be design-build specific activities.

• A minimum of 12 hours must be design-build specific activity.
• A maximum of 12 hours may be related industry organizations that provide value as a design-build professional, i.e., AIA, AGC, CMAA, ACEC, etc, or in-house structured education offerings

There are many different types of programs and activities that qualify for continuing education credit. This list is not all-inclusive, and other programs may qualify for credit if they are deemed by the Design-Build Certification Board to provide direct value to your success as a Designated Design-Build Professional®.

Leadership Credit Hours;  

The maximum allotted for leadership credit is 12 hours.  Additional 12 hours reported must be from continuing education hours.

Related industry organizations that provide value as a design-build professional, i.e., AIA, AGC, ACEC, etc, or in-house structured education offerings (12 hours maximum).

(proof of attendance is not required but is subject to auditing for verification)

I certify that the information contained on this renewal is true and accurate, and understand that the Design-Build Certification Board (DBCB) reserves the right to conduct an audit requiring additional proof of information submitted. I also understand that the DBCB reserves the right to reject credit that it deems not applicable to my work as a design-build professional. If any of this information is determined to be false, the DBCB reserves the right to revoke my DBIA™ or Assoc. DBIA™ certification.

I further understand that by renewing the DBIA™ or Assoc. DBIA™ credential that I am affirming my commitment to abide by and uphold the principles of the DBIA Code of Professional Conduct.
