There is no elimination! All players play all rounds.
It is possible to get a Bye for any game that is unplayed. Byes can give you ½ point as though you played the game and made a draw (tie), READ MORE
1/2 point Bye Requests (2 maximum) A bye is a request to not be paired for a particular round, but to remain in the event for all other rounds and still receive 1/2 point credit for not playing which will add to your final score.
*REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONSIf for any reason you need to cancel your tournament registration after paying the entry fee:You can have a full credit towards any future tournament.Or, you can have a refund minus $10 registration fee for each player registered.Cancellations must be received by email before 9:00am the Thursday before the day of the event. Any cancellations after 9:00am or no shows will not be credited.
To use your credit, simply register and pay for the desired tournament. Then email Info@TriStateChess.com to notify us and we will refund the entry fee to your credit card.
