First Free Nominations
Each year, we invite our church members to nominate potential Elders, Deacons, and Nominating Committee members. Elders oversee, shepherd, and serve our church from a big picture perspective. Deacons serve in a variety of roles including benevolence, finance, and facilities. The Nominating Committee interviews and evaluates nominees for these roles and makes recommendations to the Elders and the church. The biblical qualifications for Elder are found in I Timothy 3:1-13 and Titus 1:6-9. The biblical qualifications for Deacon are found in 1 Timothy 3:8-13.
