Are you also proposing an academic paper for the conference? Note that if you propose a paper to an academic division, you may not propose a fiction or poetry reading.

Would you like to read fiction or poetry during your reading?

Please give a brief description of your proposed reading here. Is this a selection from a work in progress or a recently published work, or something else? What genre categories best describe your work? You may change or finalize your reading selection later -- the information you provide here will simply help us pair you with other authors during your session.

Please give a brief description of your proposed performance or other creative presentation here. Our conference is open to a variety of different creative sessions. For example, you might offer a narrated slideshow of your own original art or photography, you might present a short monologue or dramatic scene, or you might share an original musical composition. Presentations must be limited to 20 minutes, and your offering will be part of a longer session featuring other artists with a moderated discussion to follow. What kind of creative presentation would you like to offer?

Is it acceptable to schedule you for a session that includes more than three creatives? (This may help include more invited creatives in the program, but it would also mean a little less time than usual for Q&A with the audience afterward).
*
No, it is not acceptable.
Yes, it is acceptable.
How important is it for you to be able to offer a fiction or poetry reading or creative performance this year?
*
It is vital for me to give a reading or performance this year – if I don’t receive a time slot, it may not be worth it for me to attend the conference.
It is a very high priority for me to give a reading or performance this year.
My first preference would be to give a reading or performance, but I would also be satisfied if I can appear on the program in another capacity instead (such as speaking on a discussion panel or moderating a session).
I’d like to give a reading or performance, but it’s honestly not a very big deal for me if there isn’t enough space for me to do so this year.
If we scheduled you to participate a discussion panel rather than (or in addition to) a reading or performance, what kind of topics would you be interested to address? Please list as many as you’d like – we will draw upon your suggestions as we design panels for the creative arts division.

What kind of panel discussion or workshop would you like to participate in? ICFA is particularly open to discussion panels related to the craft of writing, the business of publishing, or the state of your chosen field. Please describe your possible panel or workshop topic in as much detail as possible here.
*
If you have already contacted other conference attendees who have confirmed that they would like to participate in this panel, please give their names and email addresses here. List only individuals who have confirmed their willingness to participate. If you do not have confirmed panelists, leave this section blank. If your topic is chosen for consideration, the Second Vice President will help contact others to participate on the panel.

There is no Wi-Fi available in the rooms where sessions are held. Presentations must not require Internet access. All presentation rooms have digital projectors and speakers. Projectors are equipped for VGA hookups. Presenters are responsible for bringing any connectors or converters they require.
*
I have read and accept the information concerning Wi-fi and connector/converter availability.
The ICFA considers "No Wednesday" scheduling requests, and scheduling requests based on religious observances and medical or disability needs. Presenters must otherwise be available for any presentation slot (including the 8am slot) on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. If you have such a specific scheduling request, please take up the matter directly with the second vice-president.
*
I can be scheduled on Wednesday.
I understand the criteria for no Wednesday scheduling and request not to be scheduled on Wednesday.
