Questionnaire to Opt In-FAFSA Corrections Assistance – Service Description
In light of changes to the student financial aid application process this year, The U.S. Department of Education has directed ECMC/the Federal Services Bureau to fund its FAFSA College Support Strategy to provide support for ISIR 2024-25 manual correction processing. The Department of Education (ED) has approved Financial Aid Services, LLC (FAS) to provide Interim Staffing support because of FAS’ expertise in providing guidance and support to colleges in administering the federal student financial aid programs.
The consultant(s) can:
•       Review ISIRs to resolve C-codes and conflicting information
•       Process provisional independent records
•       Perform federal verification
•       Complete aid adjustments
•       Assist with professional judgment reviews and processing
