  • Evangelism Initiative Grant Application

  • Applicant Qualifications

    1) All full-time teaching faculty members are eligible to apply for EI grants; 2) Faculty who are awarded EI funds must have served two years at Wheaton College, including a minimum of one year in a tenure track position; 3)
  • Application Policy

    1) A faculty member receiving an EI grant is not eligible for another grant until after three years; 2) EI grant project funds will cover expenses for faculty member and accompanying students only; 3) Faculty members who receive EI grants are required to write a one page report summarizing their work; 4) Grant money will be distributed up to the limit of available annual funds. No grant will exceed $2,200.00
  • Selection Guidelines

    1) Wheaton Evangelism Group (WEG) will review and select the grants, and recommend the winners to the President for approval; 2) Project ideas submitted by faculty members will be considered on the basis of their comparative merit. Favor will be given to research projects that develop concepts relating evangelism with their academic discipline, for publication or presentation
  • Letter of Application

    The letter of application should state the reason for the request and the amount needed. Focus on addressing how this project will advance the outcome of faith integration within your respective discipline(s) resulting in new evangelistic insights. Consider also how principles, strategies, and/or models derived from the project may encourage faculty to model for their students how to winsomely share the Gospel both in and beyond the classroom.
