PhoneBurner Local Presence Application

The Local Presence feature provides geographic location matching during dial sessions. This feature is intended for users with a physical presence in the area codes/states they are calling. This means that the business has an office, store, or location in that state, is licensed to do business there, or otherwise has an established physical business presence there.

To qualify for Local Presence, you must attest your business has physical presence in every state that corresponds to the area codes of your purchased PhoneBurner numbers.

The Truth in Caller ID Act of 2009 makes it illegal to use false caller ID information with the intent to defraud or scam a called party. Federal, State and Local agencies have increasing levels of scrutiny around use of Local Presence and we're requiring confirmation from those using this feature that they are lawfully using this feature.

If asked, I will be able to demonstrate my physical presence by providing relevant documentation, such as an address, license, or similar indicia of a physical presence.*

Physical Presence: I have a legitimate physical business presence in every area code corresponding to the PhoneBurner numbers I am using with the Local Presence feature. This means I have an office, store, or other established physical location in these areas, or I am properly licensed and registered to conduct business in these locations.Compliance with the Truth in Caller ID Act: I acknowledge that the Local Presence feature must not be used with the intent to defraud, cause harm, or wrongfully obtain anything of value. I confirm that my use of this feature is in full compliance with the Truth in Caller ID Act of 2009 and other applicable laws.Documentation: I have provided documentation to support my physical presence in the areas listed above. This documentation may include business registrations, state licenses, or other relevant proof.I understand that by submitting this attestation, I will be granted immediate access to the Local Presence feature. I also acknowledge that PhoneBurner reserves the right to audit or request further proof if necessary and that providing false or misleading information may result in suspension or termination of my access to this feature or my PhoneBurner account.
