In 1874, Central Park was barely 15 years ago (and wasn't even finished), but had already undergone tremendous upheaval, including under rapacious watch of the "Tweed Ring."
How does the park today reflect the one a visitor would have seen in the fall of 1874? We'll walk through the park talking about its history, the stewardship of its architectural team, and the ways in which the area reflects--or rejects--the ideas of its founders.
$30 per person -- an exact meeting location will be emailed to you closer to the date of the tour.
