Preliminary Round:

Date: Friday, 11th October 2024
Time: 9:30 AM
Location: Peel Forest Estate
Details: Showcase practical skills and knowledge of deer animal and farming systems. Spot prizes, food, and equipment provided. All contestants receive a contestant T-shirt.
Note: The event will be followed by an SCNO Branch BBQ and a tour of the wintering deer barn.

Final Round:

Date: Late November 2024 (Exact date TBD)
Location: SCNO Velvet Competition
Details: The top 5 contestants from the preliminary round will compete in a quiz covering various aspects of the deer industry. Prize money will be awarded at the conclusion of the final round.

Prizes:

1st Prize: $4000
2nd Prize: $1500
3rd Prize: $500
