Request for subsidised truck license
Due to current demand and funding allocations, SmartAg Queensland support is currently available for training scheduled from September onwards. Funding is available to plant-based primary producers only and all training requests must be approved prior to booking. Applications may take up to 30 days to assess. Once approved, training must be booked within 30 days or the approval will lapse. Funding is subject to availability. Re-tests and re-assessments are not covered by SmartAg Queensland. Funding & Contributions: SmartAg Queensland provides $500 investment only (participant contribution required) to a maximum of 3 participants per business per year.
NOTE
As of the 1st of July 2026, SmartAg Queensland has updated the Truck License co-contribution to $500 for eligible plant-based primary producers.
