Friends and Colleagues:
It is that time of year again and we look forward to seeing you in a few short weeks at our annual conference at The Pendry in Newport Beach, CA.
Our election cycle for our Board of Directors is upon us and we are accepting nominations. 13 positions on the board are available. In order to be a candidate, you need to be an active PSPS member in good standing. Current Directors need to apply for their second term if they wish too.
Once nominated (self nominations are permitted) you will receive a request for confirmation of interest, whereby additional information will be required to participate in the election, which includes:
- Statement of interest (5-15 sentences)
- CV
- Location and other demographic information
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure
The nomination period will be closed and ballot set by September 6th, with voting to begin thereafter and closure on September 13th. You will be notified after the tally is complete and the term will begin at the conclusion of the annual meeting for 2 years, until the Annual meeting in 2026.
As a reminder, 2 consecutive terms are permitted, so we encourage all those interested, including current Directors to participate. We look forward to the future of PSPS, maintaining our position as the premier regional spine and pain society; your active involvement is critical.
