Introduction

Faribault Cares, in partnership with local community leaders, employers, and childcare agencies, is excited to invite proposals from Family Childcare providers for the creation and management of a new child care endeavor, Faribault Cares Hosted Units/Pods will be centrally located to ensure accessibility and serve the needs of the Faribault community. Faribault Cares aims to create a sustainable, high-quality childcare environment that fosters economic empowerment, supports the developmental needs of children, and reflects the community's cultural diversity.

Background

The project focuses on creating specialized units for second-shift care, infant and toddler care, special needs care, and a language immersion program. These units are strategically designed to cater to parents working non-traditional hours, provide early childhood services, support children with developmental challenges, and foster cultural diversity through bilingual education. By aligning with the community’s specific demands, these units not only support workforce participation but also enhance the local economy.
