Before completing this form, please apply for the SCONUL Access scheme on the SCONUL website: https://www.sconul.ac.uk/sconul-access. Your home institution library will need to check your application. Please wait until they send you an acceptance email before completing this form.

If you are a UK University student who is not eligible for SCONUL Access you may be eligible for our Independent Researcher membership. Return to the first question and select Independent Researcher from the drop-down list.

SCONUL Bands A, B and C:
- Can borrow up to 6 items
- There is no access to the library computers or online resources
- Eduroam and Visitor Wi-Fi is available
SCONUL Band R:
- Membership is reference only (this means you can use books while you are in the library but you cannot borrow them)
- There is no access to the library computers or online resources
- During term-time, access to Mile End Library is restricted to 6pm to midnight on weekdays and 8am to midnight on weekends
- Eduroam and Visitor Wi-Fi is available.
