Couples & Relationship Course

Applicant Details:

After finishing your Course:

• You will have 3 couples referred to you to see for a minimum of 6 sessions per couple on the reduced fee of £45.00 per session (£25.00 of this goes to Rekindle, £20.00 goes to you).
• After 6 sessions, you can continue to see your clients at this fee indefinitely or you’ll discuss (whilst contracting), a negotiation for your private fee from the seventh session onwards (a ReKindle contract is provided for you to edit, future fee details must be discussed with your clients from the first session).
• You’ll see the clients at the ReKindle Centre whilst they're on the 'ReKindle Affordable Scheme'.*
• Each couple will be contacted by Rekindle for feedback after their 6 sessions on the scheme with you.*
• By going through this Scheme, you may apply to be on the Rekindle team and if accepted, receive referrals at your normal fee and/or apply to be a Tutor.*
• Your placement hours completed on the 'Affordable Scheme' will be added to your records for future endorsement from ReKindle.

Contracting with clients:

ReKindle have a contract for the Affordable Scheme that you will be able to use. You may adjust this in regards to:

• Your fee negotiation from the seventh session onwards.
• Your terms regarding cancellations / FTA's
• When and how the clients pay you from the seventh session onwards
• What venue the sessions will be held from the seventh session onwards.

* If you are intending to move the clients to another venue around their seventh session. This knowledge is crucial for ReKindle to know from the outset as some may not be able to travel to a different venue with you. Clients are asked during assessment if they can travel or not and will be placed accordingly.

* It's not necessary for ReKindle to contact your 'placement clients' for feedback if you don't intend to apply for ReKindle referrals or to be a tutor. You can just complete the placement hours and have these added to your records.

* Completing your placement hours on the ReKindle Affordable Scheme does not guarantee that you'll receive referrals from ReKindle, be on the team or be a tutor. You may apply for these opportunities though.

YOU'LL BE GUIDED AND SUPPORTED ALL THE WAY, IT'S JUST LIKE A NORMAL PLACEMENT EXCEPT IN THIS CASE YOU ARE PAID AND YOU MAY BE ABLE TO KEEP YOUR CLIENTS IF THEY CHOOSE TO STAY WITH YOU BEYOND YOUR PLACEMENT HOURS WITH THEM.

* It's not necessary for ReKindle to contact your 'placement clients' for feedback if you don't intend to apply for ReKindle referrals or to be a tutor. You can just complete the placement hours and have these added to your certificate.

** If you're not intending to to complete the placement at all, you can still take the course at a fee of £530.00 but on the understanding you won't be able to apply for client referrals or apply to be a ReKindle tutor. You'll ofcourse receive your Certificate including 36 hours CPD once you've passed the course.

This Course is 36 hours long.

To pass the course, full attendance is required. Please make sure you can attend the following Saturdays:

• 3rd & 17th & 31st January 2026

• 21st February 2026

• 7th & 21st March 2026

If an emergency / unavoidable event occurs and you have to miss a module, you will be required to write a 700 word essay to show your undertanding. You will also be able to watch the days training online live, but obviously not be able to interact, ask questions, be involved with the group tasks or try out the skills practically with your peers. So we will still require an essay from you. But you will have an improved understanding of the module if you can watch the day live online.

If you miss 2 or more Modules face to face (even if you have completed essays), you will be asked to pause training and return to finish the modules on a future course. You will not be refunded any monies fully or partially and you might incur an extra 20%-50% charge of the total fee for taking up another spot on a future course. This will depend on the group number of attendees. We won't charge you extra if we can help it.

TOTAL AMOUNT (for attendees plus placement): £480.00

A £180.00 deposit is required now to secure your place on the course, this is non refundable 2 weeks before the course starts.

Then the remainder of the fee (£300.00) is payable latest 1 week before the course starts. You will be sent an invoice for this amount.

Please note: If the course becomes full and you have already paid the deposit, you will either receive the money straight back, or we can keep the deposit to secure your place on the next course, the dates for this will be announced as soon as possible depending on demand.

Terms: If you change your mind and decide not to take part in the Affordable Scheme after you’ve completed the course, you'll be liable to pay the extra fee of £50.00 and you won’t be able to apply to receive client referrals from this service.
