Site Requirements & Stall Fees

The site is open to the public from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Stall owners will be provided an exact bump-in time between 6.00am until 9.00am closer to the festival date.

Stallholders are responsible for supplying their own tent/marquee/van, tables, tagged & tested power leads, gas bottles, cooking facilities, refrigeration, water, and shade cover, and ensuring these are securely and safely installed according to Tasman Council regulations and all relevant Tasmanian Government Regulations and Acts.

Parking

To maximise space for stalls and patrons, stallholders will have a separate reserved car-parking area away from the festival stall space. For safety, cars will not be allowed in the main festival from 9.00am until 4.30pm for pack up.

Mobile Phones / Internet
Mobile phones are not reliable on site. The festival committee will endeavour to arrange onsite wifi for stallholders to use for payment systems – you will receive a password in your welcome pack. Cashless payment systems may work on the day, please make a backup plan in case they don’t.

Health Regulations and Hygiene Requirement
All food and beverage stall owners must comply with the Tasman Council’s regulations in relation to the safe handling of food. All food must be prepared, packed, displayed, and sold as far as is practicable in accordance with the requirements of the Food Act 2003.

Environmental Awareness
In keeping with the festival’s environmental ethics, we do now ask that all stallholders please use compostable plates, mugs, bowls, and cutlery. No single use plastics (including plastic straws) are permitted. Stallholders will also be required to provide their own water.

Koonya Garlic Festival Raffle

The entire Koonya Garlic Festival is run by volunteers and as you can imagine it is quite expensive to produce. It is a not-for-profit organisation that returns much of its profit back into the community. To assist with ongoing Festival costs, our very popular raffle will be held and drawn on the day. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
