WAVETRAILS:
A Festival of Light & Sound
The Inaugural Wavetrails Festival will take place this October 17th & 18th at FUSION | The Cell in Downtown Albuquerque. The Festival will include two nights of incredible performances and visual art, including dance, spoken word, live instrumentation and an immersive sound and holographic visual experience.
Wavetrails is an experimental music and visual festival highlighting local and national musicians collaborating with visual artists through a unique audio/visual stage experience. A holographic stage will house musicians of all types, dancers, poets, and more, while surrounding them with quadraphonic sound and eye-opening imagery.
NIGHT ONE
Thursday, October 17th, 7–10 PM, The Cell and VIP Lounge Below
Three main performances, A spoken word performance, A motion-activated dance piece, And a final musical number to finish the night, choreographed visuals will be produced for each of the three acts
NIGHT TWO
Friday, October 18th, 7:–11:30 PM, The Cell and VIP Lounge Below
Two acts of musical and visual performances, 7:30–9:00 & 9:30+
Act I will be seated and Act II will be more of a ‘dance club’ energy. Night two includes six musicians, including national musicians from Denver and San Francisco, in addition to the three to four visual artists doing the visuals throughout the night
VIP Experience: “Down the Rabbit Hole” (playing to the underground lounge location)
