Please be aware that this activity may prove unsuitable for some children with Special Educational Needs. Rehearsal rooms are often loud, busy environments and performance days can be quite overwhelming for some students due to the bright lights, large audience watching, unknown building/space, and pressure of performance. Many SEN students take part with no issues. Parents are required to keep an open line of communication with Bloom staff to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved. The Bloom staff may decide that your child would benefit from treating drama club as simply an extracurricular activity that they enjoy, in and of itself, without the pressure of the performance at the end. Any decision made regarding an SEN student's participation is for their best interest and done so with sensitivity.

I agree that my child will not be absent without giving notice to the session leader. I agree that if my child is absent for three consecutive sessions and I have not informed the company as to the reason, Bloom Tuition and Education LTD may assume my child no longer wishes to attend that specific workshop and my child's place will be automatically given to someone else if there is a waiting list. Registration takes place within my child's workshop, so I agree that my child will arrive promptly at the time their workshop is due to start.

I agree that when rehearsals commence for any production, members are required to give full commitment to the rehearsal schedule. I agree that my child will attend sessions dressed appropriately, including the official Bloom Tuition and Education t-shirt and black bottoms. I agree that my child will wear flat shoes for workshops. I agree that if my child's workshop leader considers his/her attire to be inappropriate, he/she may not be admitted into the workshop.

I agree that it is a shared responsibility to maintain venues and classrooms. I agree that any litter is placed in the rubbish bins provided. I agree that there is absolutely no chewing gum allowed in workshops and that all venues also have a strict No Smoking policy in force, including e-cigarettes. I agree to help Bloom Tuition and Education LTD. to keep theatres and classrooms a pleasant environment for members, staff, and audience members.

I agree that it is my responsibility to drop off and collect my child on time at the start and end of each session. I agree that Bloom Tuition and Education LTD is not responsible for my child outside of workshops. I agree that I will notify Bloom Tuition and Education LTD in writing if my child is permitted to travel home without adult supervision.

I agree that the participation rate (payable by direct transfer) is specified in the letter I received from my child's school, and that siblings receive a 10% discount. I agree that all fees will be paid on receipt of the invoice sent to my email address each half-term. I agree that, in the event of an exam, an additional charge will be made via Bloom Tuition and Education LTD. by Victoria College Exams, that these rates may vary and are not set by Bloom Tuition and Education LTD., and that I am entirely responsible for paying these fees if I put my child forward for an exam. I agree that there can be no reduction in subscriptions for members who are absent from sessions (or if a child is sent home from a session by a member of the Bloom Tuition and Education LTD. team). I agree that no refunds are available at any time, including in the event of standing orders failing to be stopped upon a member leaving the company, as all such receipts shall be treated as donations to the company.

I agree that Bloom Tuition and Education LTD. may take photos and videos of workshops and events for general publicity and press purposes, which may mean my child appears on social media pages, the company website as well as third-party advertising (newspapers, magazines, websites etc.). I agree to give the company 30 days written notice if my child wishes to drop out of the process for any reason. This is because every session is a crucial rehearsal for the children's next production, and when a child drops out of the process it has a profoundly negative effect on the work the remaining children are doing. Families need to give serious thought to the effect their child dropping out has on the rest of their class.
