ELIGIBILITY: Applicant must be an Animal Science major expecting to be a full-time student for both fall and spring semester of the coming academic year.*

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Applications must be submitted by April 1, 2025.

NOTICE OF AWARD: Notification of scholarship award will be by email from the Department of Animal Science.

Students who receive scholarships will be expected to attend and be recognized at the Animal Science Scholarship Reception during the fall semester. Our scholarship donors are committed to student success and enjoy meeting scholarship recipients. Failure to attend the reception without prior approval may result in withdrawal of the scholarship.

* Departmental policy states all scholarships selected by the Animal Science Scholarship Committee should be awarded on a semester basis with one-half of the scholarship awarded in the Fall semester and one-half of the scholarship awarded in the Spring semester. If the scholarship recipient does not enroll in the Spring semester they will forfeit the Spring semester portion of the scholarship.
