What is Women of the Woods?

Empower yourself in a supportive and inclusive environment with our exclusive monthly wilderness survival class designed specifically for women. Led by experienced wilderness & survival experts, this class offers a unique opportunity to master essential skills such as water purification, trap setting, fire building, bush crafting, knots, navigation, edible & medicinal plants, and shelter construction. Each session is carefully crafted to ensure a safe, engaging, and empowering experience, fostering a strong sense of community and confidence among participants. Embrace the challenge, build lifelong skills, and connect with like-minded women as you discover the strength and resilience within you. Classes run once per month from 10am to 4pm in WNC at 202 Crawford Creek Road, Canton, NC 28716.
