The City of Dallas has committed to eliminating traffic-related deaths and reducing severe-injury crashes by 50% by 2030. St. Augustine Road has been prioritized because it is part of the city’s High Injury Network – the 7% of Dallas roads that account for 62% of the city’s fatal and severe-injury crashes.
This study aims to recommend improvements to address speeding, enhance travel by alternative modes of transportation, reduce severe traffic crashes, and improve the quality of life for all roadway users.
