Northampton Neighbors' Doozy Do Parade

The DoozyDo stretches from Hawley St to Pulaski Park and we need 25 volunteers for our Street Team. NN will recognize 3 hours of Community Service for your time and skill. Everyone is welcome.
Volunteer Release Waiver of Liability

Please complete and submit by September 20, 2025 so we can get our doozyducks in a row;)
Volunteers understand that the scope of a volunteers’ relationship is limited to a volunteer position and that no compensation is expected in return for services provided by the volunteer. That Northampton Neighbors will not provide any benefits traditionally associated with employment to a volunteer; and that the volunteer is responsible for their own insurance coverage.

The volunteer desires to provide services for Northampton Neighbors and engage in activities related to serving as a volunteer by performing associated duties.

Waiver and Release: I understand and acknowledge that this Waiver and Release discharges Northampton Neighbors from any liability or claims that I may have against Northampton Neighbors with respect to bodily injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result from the services that I provide or occurring while I am providing volunteer services.

Photographic Release: I grant and convey to Northampton Neighbors all the right, title, and interests in any photographs, images, video, or audio recordings of me or my likeness or voice made in connection with my providing volunteer services.

DOOZY DO STREET TEAM Duties:

Arrive at 33 Hawley Street by 10:15 AM on Saturday, September 20, 2025

Check-in at the Volunteer Table for your Volunteer Vest and Assignment.

Volunteer Duties include:
- greet and guide paraders on Hawley Street
- Check-in parades and volunteers
- stand at street crossings--wiht a fancy flag (Main St is closed for the parade)
- stage-manage in Pulaski Park
- light clean up
- and more;)
All Volunteers follow the Parade to Pulaski Park to celebrate with all the DoozyDoers.

Return the vest (and flag) to the box near the main stage.

Help with any light cleanup.

We expect the Parade to wrap up by 1PM.

The DoozyDo is a Rain and Shine Event;)

Extreme Weather may force us to cancel --We will post it to our calendar on northamptonneighbors.org by 9 AM.

* Wear comfortable clothes and footwear. We will make accommodations for those unable to walk or stand for any distance or length of time. Please add a note below.
