This award recognises a young person (aged 25 and under) who has brought energy, dedication and commitment to their volunteering.

    Sports and Active Volunteer Award

Volunteers are vital for sports clubs and activities to run.  This award recognises a volunteer who gives their time, enthusiasm and energy encouraging others to be physically active: from leading a walking group, to organising sporting events to weekly coaching.

    Community Volunteer Award

This award recognises a volunteer who has volunteered in the community. They may be involved with an organisation or may be involved in all sorts of venues and groups; they may have inspired others in the community to get involved; or have been an encouragement and guiding light to others.

    Volunteer Team Award

This category is open to any collective of volunteers who work as a team/group to change lives. The nature of the volunteering can fall into any of the other categories and recognises the work done by members working together in an organised and impactful way.

    Behind the Scenes Volunteer Award

All groups and organisations will have those volunteers who work quietly ‘behind the scenes’, keeping groups and volunteers going. They carry out tasks such as: administration, refreshments, media work, grass cutting, setting up and tidying away etc. An invaluable member of any group!
