AGL Neighborhood Lighting Request
GRANT INFORMATION

Avenue Greenlight is proud to be illuminating San Francisco! We have supported string lighting in over 30 SF corridors, to improve city aesthetics, support safety, and draw more neighbors into their local small businesses!
Nonprofit organizations, community groups, and merchant associations are eligible to be considered for funding. Groups applying for the grant must be a 501(c)3 or 501(c)6 nonprofit organization or identify a fiscal sponsor.
Nonprofit organizations are solely responsible for the planning, design, permitting, installation, maintenance, and operation of their proposed lighting projects. If selected, Avenue Greenlight will provide funding for installation costs only. Avenue Greenlight assumes no responsibility or liability for any damages, injuries, maintenance costs, or other issues arising from or related to the lighting project, whether during or after installation.
* Organizations that can leverage external funding sources and do not require full funding from Avenue Greenlight, such as those with OEWD grants, Supervisor discretionary funds, or other external contributions, will be prioritized.
Grant Eligibility Criteria:

It is the responsibility of the applicant to procure all appropriate permits for project execution in advance of receiving the funding.

Projects must be carried out in San Francisco.
Projects cannot duplicate existing maintenance programs.

Applicants must be in good standing on current and previous AGL contracts.
