VIRTUAL TRYPO BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS AND STANDARDS

While we expect that all Students will act as good ambassadors for TRYPO at all times, we have provided the following rules in order to provide clarity for our expectations of Students’ behavior during TRYPO online programming. All Students should ensure that their screens, backgrounds, e-mails, chats, and all parts of their participation adhere to these guidelines. Students registering for TRYPOsphere classes are considered TRYPO Members and will be referred to as TRYPO Members on the following pages.
1. Students should behave in a mature, respectful manner during all TRYPO activities.
2. Students must follow instructions and respect TRYPO staff, teachers, and counselors.
3. Students are expected to refrain from use of any profane language or behavior.
4. Students will engage in courteous and respectful use of social media.
5. Students should take care of their personal needs (appropriate dress, basic hygiene, finish eating, chewing gum, talking to others in your home, etc.) prior to entering a Zoom classroom.
6. TRYPO has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, racist, or threatening behavior by or towards students.
7. Use, possession, or images of any of the following is strictly prohibited:
  - tobacco products
  - alcoholic beverages
  - drugs or other illegal substances
  - extreme violence, weapon, or item which might inflict personal injury or property damage
  - images of a pornographic or disrespectful nature
8. Students will adhere to attendance requirements and will not be tardy for scheduled classes or other events.
9. Bathrooms are considered private areas. Cameras, recording, or photographic equipment is not to be used in these areas at any time.
10. Students must have appropriate backgrounds on their Zoom sessions, whether electronic backgrounds or physical backgrounds. Your counselor, teacher, and/or TRYPO staff may privately message you to ask you to remove an inappropriate item from view.
11. Students and parents may not distribute Zoom log-in information to anyone or post it publicly.

Membership Agreement
The undersigned TRYPO Member and Parent(s)/Guardian(s) hereby consent to the commitment to participation of:

in one or more programs administrated by Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestras (“TRYPO”) for the 2024-25 season and, in consideration of the benefits that Member will receive as a result of his or her participation in TRYPO-programming, we agree to the following terms and conditions of membership:
1. We understand that Member will be responsible for knowing his/her music and fulfilling homework assignments before coming to rehearsal and class.
2. We understand that Member is encouraged to and expected to participate fully in his/her school music program.
3. [For TRYPO large ensemble members] We understand that Member’s music and music folder are property of TRYPO and must be returned to TRYPO at the end of the season. We understand that Member is responsible for the music folder and music. If Member loses or damages any of the music, we agree to pay for the replacement costs.
4. We, the undersigned, hereby grant consent and permission for the taking of photographs and/or video of Member that occur or are incidental to his/her participation in TRYPO-programming and waive and/or assign any and all rights (including copyright) in such media to TRYPO and TRYPO’s directors, employees, agents, volunteers, and affiliates (“Affiliates”). TRYPO and its Affiliates, as the sole owners of such media, shall have the exclusive right to (i) control, alter, or edit and (ii) determine the use, display, performance, reproduction and dissemination of any such photographs and/or videos.
5. We, the undersigned, are responsible for paying tuition in a timely manner. We understand that there can be no refunds.
6. We, the undersigned, accept the risks of participating in an online program, including viewing content shared by others. We, our heirs and legal representatives agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestras and all of its officers, administrators, agents and employees from any and all liability for any injury or loss and all claims, demands and actions at law or in equity that may hereafter at any time be brought by me, or anyone acting on my behalf, for the purpose of enforcing a claim for damages because of any injury (including death) or damage to us resulting from or in any way related to my participation in the aforesaid activity.
7. We hereby acknowledge and agree that in the event of an injury to us, we will apply our own medical, hospitalization and/or accident insurance toward the payment of any and all expenses incurred and will not look to Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestras for the payment of any medical or injury related expenses.

Tuition and Payment Options
TRYPOsphere TUITION:
- Apprentice Conducting Program: $500
- YOUmusic: $300
- Less $50 household discount, if student or a sibling is enrolled in a TRYPO large ensemble, YC², or another TRYPO class for 2024-25.

(Current TRYPO families, we will add your TRYPOsphere tuition to your existing tuition account. New Families, we will reach out to you with additional steps to create your tuition account):*

- SUBMIT: The form will first perform an error check, and take you to any fields that need to be corrected prior to submission.
- SUBMISSION CONFIRMATION: If your form properly submits, you will receive an email confirming submission.
- CLASS CONFIRMATION: To move ahead with each class, a minimum number of students must sign up. Please watch for an email from us no later than 2 weeks before a class is scheduled to begin.
- NEXT STEPS FOR TUITION FEES: As soon as your class is confirmed, you will receive an invoice for the program. This will be added to your tuition account with TRYPO and will be paid according to the settings you have on your account.
