Wellington Theatre Awards Judging Form 2025
The Wellington Theatre Awards was established in 1992 to salute the work and achievements of the passionate and hardworking creatives that year on year continue to produce great theatre in Wellington. This form is for creatives to submit their productions to be nominated for the 2025 Wellington Theatre Awards.
Eligibility
The following is the criteria for the 2025 Wellington Theatre Awards. All professional New Zealand theatre performed in Wellington is deemed eligible. If a show is staged as a development season, it does not become eligible until its premiere season. This is to avoid a show being “marked down” while it is still a work in progress. A return season of a prior year’s production is also considered ineligible, as you can’t have the same show winning the same awards in multiple years. Productions between 16th November 2024 and 14th November 2025 will be eligible for judging in the 2025 Wellington Theatre Awards. Productions (if eligible) after this period can go into consideration for the awards in the following year. This form will be shared with this year's judges. The panel includes Stevie Hancox-Monk, Emma Katene, Brianne Kerr, Lucas Neal, Heather O'Carroll, Jthan Morgan, Izzi Lao, Brynne Tasker-Poland, Sameena Zehra, Marshall Rankin, Regan Taylor and Simon Howard.
