In addition to your booth fee, there are additional costs that Cultural Survival does not cover (transportation, lodging, food, etc...). Cultural Survival does not provide transportation between your hotel/lodging and the event locations.
Please let us know in the payment section if you require financial assistance.
To factor in costs, please consider:
Meals
Eating out may cost about $30-60/day.
Transportation
Before reserving a place to stay, please use maps.google.com or Rome2rio.com to determine travel time to and from the venue. Some hotels are very close via public transit, and others are not. Each subway trip costs $2.40 (it does not cost more if the trip requires transferring to another subway train).Taxis and Uber/Lyft cost anywhere from $10-35 per trip depending on where you are traveling from in Boston.
Lodging
The closest option is the Sheraton Hotel within The Prudential Center. The Sheraton is about $182.00 USD per night. For more affordable options vendors are encouraged to look into hostels in Boston such as Hi Boston Hostel (also check this link and this link too)
Homestay Program*
We will seek homestays upon artists’ request and need. Availability will depend on the number of registered hosts. We will notify you by November 1st, 2024 if we are able to secure a homestay or not.
