To submit your nomination for the Templeton Citizen of the Year award, please read the criteria carefully and submit your nomination to the Selection Committee by Monday, September 23, 2024.

CRITERIA FOR NOMINEES
- Persons who have made significant contributions to Templeton through community service, community action, donations, and other ongoing community outreach
- The nominee must have lived in the greater Templeton area for at least five years
- Community involvement must not be based solely upon their contributions from employment-related responsibilities
HELPFUL HINTS FOR YOUR NOMINATION FORM
- Only completed submissions will be accepted
- Have a variety of supporters write letters or sign one letter on the nominee’s behalf documenting their service and dedication to Templeton
PROCESS OF SELECTION
- A Committee reviews nominations and the top choices are presented to the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
- Each member of the Board votes privately and turns in their vote to the Chamber President/CEO who then tallys the votes and announces the Citizen of the Year.
- The awardee will be contacted by the Chamber President/CEO, announced to the membership, and honored at the Chamber’s 2024 Christmas Tree Auction and Awards Ceremony.
