The party of the year is back! Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstead invites you to a special evening of winter fun for the site's second annual Winter Masquerade! Join us up the road at the historic Radnor Hunt to enjoy colonial music and dance, sip on local libations, dine on traditional fare, and bid on notable auction items. The evening includes a sit down dinner and an open bar.
CPF is an 18th century living history farm located in Ridley Creek State Park where the Revolutionary Era is brought to life for visitors as they discover how colonial farm families lived and worked during a critical period in American history. Proceeds from the Winter Masquerade are used to support our historic farm operations, care of our heritage breed animals, and our many education programs, including field trips, community outreach, summer camps, and skills workshops.

Masquerades were very popular events in the 18th century, often hosted by high members of society or royalty to celebrate the period between Twelfth Night and Ash Wednesday. Party goers donning festive costumes and masks would arrive at midnight and enjoy all manner of splendor until the morning light. Festivities would include dancing, decadent desserts, drinks, games, and conviviality.
