    To celebrate the launch of the Art Gallery, artists from across the Shoalhaven and South Coast are invited to submit artwork to be displayed at our first annual Shoalhaven Community Art Exhibition. Works will be exhibited every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Cambewarra Estate Winery from Saturday the 2nd of November 2024 to Sunday the 22nd of December 2024. There will be an opening celebration from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday the 3rd of November.
  • Entry Criteria

  • - Artists must be living within the Shoalhaven / South Coast

    - Artists must be 16 years of age or older

    - Artwork maximum size: 1.2m x 1.2m

    - Artwork maximum weight: 20kg

    - Artwork must arrive ready to hang / install or with easel 

  • Entry Process

  • Artists may apply to submit up to 2 artworks.

    Gallery space is limited so if we receive more applications than space available a ballot will be conducted to determine final entries. Submissions close Monday 30th of September 2024 at midnight.

    Entries received after this deadline will not be accepted. Artists will be notified by email during the week of the 30th of September 2024 regarding the outcome of their application.

    The selected work is to be delivered to Cambewarra Estate Winery between 10am and 2pm on Monday 28th of October. Please note that artists must take any packaging materials away with them as it cannot be stored at the Gallery.

    The Artwork must be labelled with the Artist's name and contact information on the back of the work as well as the artists name / artwork title and sale price on the front.

    Artworks are to be collected from Cambewarra Estate Winery between 10am and 2pm on Friday 3rd of January 2025.

  • Sale of Works

  • All artwork sales will be managed and processed via the gallery

    Artworks for sale will have the price listed on the artwork label in the exhibition

    The Gallery team will keep a record of any sales, advise the artist if their artwork has sold and will arrange to make payment directly to the artist. Artwork sold will have 15% sale commission to the gallery.

    If a work is sold the Gallery can mark the work as sold with a red dot and then the artwork will be available for collection at the end of the exhibition. If the buyer prefers to take the art with them on the day of purchase we will contact the artist to see if they have another piece they can display.

    Exhibition Opens: 2nd November 2024

    Exhibition Closes: 22nd December 2024

    Artwork Collection: 3rd of January 2025, 10am to 2pm

  • The artist accepts full risk and responsibility for any damage or loss of artwork that is submitted as part of the exhibition. 


    All care will be taken with each artwork however in the event of damage or loss to any artwork, Cambewarra Estate Winery (including staff) will not be responsible or liable for any costs associated with any damage to or loss of any artwork.

    By submitting this application form you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the exhibition which includes your agreement that you will accept full risk and responsibility for any costs associated with damaged or lost artwork.
