Rules & Regulations
Food Vendor fee is
$300.00
– we are taking into consideration that you may need to pay a
$30.00
fee to the NYS Department of Health for your Temporary Food Vendor Permit and are keeping our fee reasonable.
All Food Vendors must have a NYS Certificate of Authority to Collect Sales Tax, which is required to be displayed at the vendor location. A photocopy of the original certificate must accompany this application. If a copy of the original certificate is not included, please provide an explanation:
All Food Vendors must provide a copy of their Insurance Certificate of Liability in the amount of $1,000.000.00 naming the Greater Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, Inc. as the additional insured, with this application. If the Certificate of Liability is not included, please provide an explanation:
All Food Vendors must provide a copy of their NYS Workers’ Compensation Insurance with this application if the vendor uses paid employees. If a copy of the Workers' Compensation Insurance is not included, please provide an explanation.
All Food Vendors must provide a copy of their NYS Temporary Food Vendor Permit with this application.
All Food Vendors must adhere to all rules and regulations as set forth by the NYS Department of Health (see enclosure from NYS Department of Health).
Preference will be given to vendors with approved quiet generators.
The GGCC reserves the right to reject any food items listed on this application.
All Food Vendors with cooking facilities are required to have a dry powder fire extinguisher of not less than five pounds. In addition, all bottled gas and pressurized tanks must be secured with non-flammable fasteners.
Food Vendors must supply their own water. Water hook-up is not available.
Setup is on Saturday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm only. Takedown should occur at the end of the evening and be complete by 8:00 pm. Let us know if you need to make an arrangement outside of these time periods.
