Empowering Drivers:
We are committed to providing truck drivers with access to resources and support for maintaining their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Our initiatives include health and wellness programs, stress management resources, and mental health support tailored to the unique challenges faced by truck drivers.
Supporting Truck Stop Owners:
We aim to collaborate with legal and compliant truck stop owners to create safe, sustainable, and inviting spaces where drivers can rest, socialize, and recuperate before setting off on their next delivery. By standardising the minimum safety requirements for a truck stop and by encouraging the improve and maintenance of basic facilities and infrastructure, we ensure that truck stops are well-equipped to support the needs of drivers, promoting a more enjoyable and productive environment.
Creating Opportunities for Stakeholder Investment:
We invite stakeholders in the freight and transport sector to invest their Corporate Social Investment (CSI), skills, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) funds in the SaferStops Association. By partnering with us, you can help us achieve our goals of enhancing the well-being of truck drivers and improving truck stop facilities across South Africa. Your contributions will support health and wellness programs, the development of sustainable and safe truck stop environments, educational initiatives, and public awareness campaigns. Together, we can create a safer, more supportive industry that benefits drivers, truck stop owners, and the broader community.
