• Craft Workshop Proposal: SPRING 2026

This form is for those who wish to propose a specific craft workshop as part of LitArts RI's upcoming programming. Proposals are due by Nov 16, 2025. Please submit only one proposal per term (note: if you submit more than one proposal, only the first will be reviewed).
  • Craft Workshops are generative skills-building intensives, and must include a deep dive into an aspect of writing. Workshops should reach across multiple mediums and genres and be engaging for all experience levels. Please take a moment to review the rubric here. While we are open to all subjects, this term we are particularly interested in seeing workshops that engage:

    • Fundamentals of Fiction (novels, short stories)
    • Genre Fiction (romance, fantasy, sci fi, horror, mystery, YA, surprise us!)
    • Longform/Investigative Journalism
    • Underrepresented Narratives

  • All LitArts RI contracted teaching artists will be asked to submit a background check (at no cost).

  • Thank you for your previous submission! Your proposal has been kept on file and will be automatically considered for this term. Please submit only one proposal per calendar year; you will be eligible to reapply during our next Open Call.
