All levels MUST complete a minimum 5 hours of mentoring with a pre-approved APSA Mentor coach for the level seeking re-accreditation for and in addition the following:
Community Coach (Level 0) - must successfully complete the Community Coach worksheet(s) and a practical assessment (this can be done face to face or via submission of a video to the APSA accreditation officer).
Development Coach (Level 1) - must successfully complete an APSA online Development Coach worksheet for each discipline seeking re-accreditation for and successfully complete a practical assessment (this can be done face to face or via submission of a video to the APSA accreditation officer).
Intermediate Coach (Level 2) - must successfully complete an APSA online Intermediate coach return to coaching worksheet for each discipline seeking re-accreditation for and successfully completing a practical assessment (this can be done face to face or via submission of a video to the accreditation officer).
Senior Coach (Level 3) - must successfully complete an APSA online Senior Coach return to coaching worksheet for each discipline seeking re-accreditation for and a practical assessment (this can be done face to face or via submission of a video to the APSA accreditation officer).
Performance levels (Lvls 4 to 7) - must successfully complete an APSA online performance coaching worksheet for each discipline seeking re-accreditation in and Mentoring hours for levels 1 to 3 MUST include on ice hours. Mentoring hours for Performance Levels should also cover areas as required, i.e changes to ISA and ISU selection policies, Drugs in Sport, Well Being, etc. as well as on ice hours as required.
Additional payment to APSA is required, in addition to your regular State PSA membership fee.
