    Rolling Submissions - No Deadline

Applications reviewed at the beginning of each month.

The Students' Association Community Micro-Grants program offers funding and support to clubs, student-run galleries, and projects on campus. This program aims to foster collaboration, facilitate skill and knowledge sharing, promote professional development, provide opportunities for low-stakes entry-level arts administration and project development, combat social isolation, and create a strong creative community.

  • Guidelines

    • Must have at least 2 co-directors who are current students
    • Must be open to participation to everyone on campus
    • Must not be something that already exists on campus
    • Money cannot be raised and kept in-pocket. All funds MUST go to the project OR sustainability of the project.

These are rolling submissions meaning that applicants can apply anytime throughout the academic year and applications will be reviewed at the beginning of each month.

The funds are available until they run out. The funding comes from a pool of grant money that is shared among all the student groups and galleries, so funds are limited.

You can self determine how much you need (up to $400 / semester) but please really consider how much you’ll need before asking for the full amount.

At the end of the term, or before you apply for additional funding, you will need to fill out the Community Grant Reporting

Submissions are selected through a jury process and applicants will receive their funds via e-transfer after signing the Community Grants Recipient Agreement.

WE DO NOT WANT TO SEE ANY LEFTOVER GRANT MONEY SO USE ALL YOUR FUNDING BY THE END OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR!
