    We stand behind our work!  As long as your scheduled date is before the first hard freeze of the fall, we guarantee your system against freeze damage caused by a bad blowout. 

    Even if some cold weather sneaks up on us we have been very successful winterizing systems late in the season - but we always recommend sooner rather than later.

    Your scheduled blowout appointment can only be edited at least 48 hours before your originally scheduled date of {scheduledDate}.

    However, please note that changes without 48 hours' notice will still incur the full blowout charge.

    We can only blowout properties in Saskatoon.  Unfortunately, we cannot provide blowout services for any properties in Martinsville, Warman, Langham, Clavet, Dundurn, Dalmeny, Vanscoy, etc.  

  • IMPORTANT: Google has classified your address as within Clavet or Martensville or Warman, not Saskatoon.  We can NOT provide blowout services in the towns of Clavet or Martensville or Warman.  

    If your address is within the city limits of Saskatoon, you can continue booking your blowout. 

    But if you are NOT within the Saskatoon city limits, you will MUST contact Chris at office@chrisirrigation.com to determine if we can do your property.  If we cannot service your property and you did not reach out to Chris to confirm this, you will still be charged for your reserved appointment.

    Unless you need us to enter your house to turn off your water for you, you don't need to be home during the blowout.  Dates in later October will be made available as weather permits.  Dates become unavailable as they fill up and at 11pm the previous day to allow us time to prepare.

  • If applicable, the following billing adjustments will be applied by the technician when emailing your invoice:

    • Shop-area Discount (Hampton, Westview, Dundonald, Massey Place @ $51 + GST)
    • Neighbor Discount (adjacent homes booked for the same day @ $51 + GST)
    • Late Season Blowout (after October 19th, $25 surcharge)

    IMPORTANT:
    You may edit or cancel your blowout booking for free up until {editingDisabled71} @ 10pm. 
    After this time, any changes will incur the cost of the originally booked blowout (in addition to any subsequent blowout).

    • Tap

      To offer the best and most complete blowout, we use a Tap Hookup to blow a lot of air through the valves of your sprinkler system.

      If you do not have a tap hookup available (ex: if you only have "tire inflator" valves, or if your sprinklers are screwed on directly to a hose bib), we may need to disassemble the manifold for a proper blowout (additional $10-$20).

      Inside Shutoff

      Before your blowout, you will need to turn off the water supply to your irrigation system for the entire winter. 

      This is normally done through an Inside Shutoff, unless your sprinklers are connected to a winterizing/frost-free tap. 

      If you need assistance finding this water shutoff, we would be glad to help you (additional $20 for up to 10 minutes).

      Remote Tap

      A Remote Tap is a faucet or hose bib that is located somewhere in the yard seperate from the irrigation valves. 

      This tap will still need to be winterized.  Please leave them open before we arrive (or leave detailed instructions of their location for us) since it can be easy for us to miss one. 

      (Free, unless we need to spend time looking for them without instructions)

      Vacuum Breaker

      We cannot blow out your system through a vacuum breaker installed on your tap.  We can normally take these off for you, so you don't need to do anything.

      However, if it cannot be removed due to rust, etc, we might need to disassemble your manifold to complete the blowout (free or additional $10-$20).

      Drip Valve

      If you have any drip irrigation, please either open all of the drip valves found at the end of your drip lines, or let us know where by flagging them so we can open them. 

      If you do not have drip valves, we can still blow out your drip lines, but it will not be as thorough.  We suggest adding them in next year.

      Garden Hose

      We will gladly blowout any garden hoses you need if requested. However, we have 2 requirements:

      1) please have them attached to the tap hookup for the sprinklers (so instead of attaching to the tap we just attach to the hose).

      2) please make sure the hose is free from kinks, otherwise we will not be able to blow through it.

    • Please arrange to be home the entire day on {scheduledDate} so that someone can let us inside to turn off your outside water.  Our arrival time can be anytime between 8am - 8pm on {scheduledDate}.  If you are not home when we arrive, we will not be able to shut off your water and won't be able to complete your blowout and you will still be charged for the full blowout.

    • Please indicate in the notes below if the valves are only in the BACK YARD.  Otherwise we will assume they are in the front AND back yard.  It just saves us some looking :)

    • If you would like us to blowout your garden hose(s), please have them all attached to the irrigation manifold tap(s) we will be blowing out through.  

      There may be extra hookup charges if the hose cannot be blown out with the rest of the system without disconnecting it.

We also recommend leaving all faucets and manual valves 1/2 open until our arrival.  This helps with diagnosing possible system issues.
