D&G Woodlands Survey
Waterside Hill, St. John's Town of Dalry, information panels
Have your say!
Dumfries & Galloway Woodlands is working with the owner of Waterside Hill, Dalry Community Council and other partners to install two new benches and two interpretation panels on the Southern Upland Way as it crosses the site. These panels are an opportunity to highlight the history and stories of the site. Work has taken place over recent years to combine inputs from local people and historical sources. This is a final chance to have your say on what you would like to see included on the information panels. This work is funded thanks to support from The Glenkens & District Trust and The National Lottery Heritage Fund and forms part of the 'Woodlands Plus' project. For more information visit: https://dgwoodlands.org.uk/woodlands-plus/ or contact mcnabb.laurie@dgwoodlands.org directly. It is planned that the benches and panels will be installed by April 2025. All information submitted through this form will be anonymised meaning no individual is identifiable.
