1. Welcome: Fellowship over a meal, following the early church model seen in the Book of Acts.
Acts 2:42 - “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
2. Worship: After eating, we come together to worship through music, prayer, or communion, remembering the work of Jesus.
John 4:24 - “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
3. Word: The Word of God is taught using a discovery Bible study method, where each person shares what God is teaching them.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 - “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
4. Works: A time for the Holy Spirit to move—praying for one another, listening to God's voice, and activating spiritual gifts.
1 Corinthians 12:7 - “Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.”
5. Witness: We end by committing to share the gospel, looking for opportunities to lead others to Jesus.
Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
