Thank you for your interest in helping lead Compassion To Action’s Community Discipleship Gatherings!

These gatherings are designed to help people grow in their identity as children of God, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and equipped to become disciples who make disciples.

Our groups are intentionally small—no larger than 12 people—to create space for meaningful growth and equipping. Each group functions under the conviction of the Holy Spirit, inspiring Christ like commitments from the heart of God that impact the community, with the goal of raising up leaders to continue this reproducible model.

These gatherings are a safe place for people to grow—an environment where people can learn, do, and teach others to become disciples that make disciples. It is a space for discovering your true identity through the love of the Father, being equipped, and learning to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

A leader will be taught and entrusted to create an atmosphere that reflects the love of the Father and the power of the Holy Spirit, allowing the gatherings to remain life-giving, not rigid and religious.
Compassion To Action Discipleship Communities follow what we call the 5-W's format.
1. Welcome: Fellowship over a meal, following the early church model seen in the Book of Acts.

Acts 2:42 - “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

2. Worship: After eating, we come together to worship through music, prayer, or communion, remembering the work of Jesus.

John 4:24 - “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

3. Word: The Word of God is taught using a discovery Bible study method, where each person shares what God is teaching them.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 - “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

4. Works: A time for the Holy Spirit to move—praying for one another, listening to God's voice, and activating spiritual gifts.

1 Corinthians 12:7 - “Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.”

5. Witness: We end by committing to share the gospel, looking for opportunities to lead others to Jesus.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
