We can NOT consider intake unless you can foster until the cat is adopted or you find a foster. We do not have any available cat fosters. Please be sure to fill out ALL information requested so that we can review and set up a medical intake appointment if we think it's a good fit and we can possibly intake. Intake REQUIRES that we have photos, video, contact information, medical records (if you have any) and the Foster Finder and Owner Surrender forms, below to be completed and signed. If this information is NOT complete we will not be moving forward with your application and we can NOT receive attachments separately from this form. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO FILL THIS FORM IN FULL and sign it. The form is not complete if it's not signed.

Please indicate your availability for an intake appointment at our Pearland location. Appointments can only be made between 8:30am-4:30pm M-F please provide a few choices as our team gets booked up (do not provide specific dates as we can't guarantee an appointment for them).*
If no medical was already completed for the cat, please attach screenshot of donation to the rescue (recommended a minimum $100 per cat) if you are in a position to help offset the significant expenses associated with bringing this cat into our program. See below if you can't donate.

IF CAT IS OVER 4 weeks old we require a video showing that the cat is NOT feral - Good examples of this would be picking up the cats and being held in a video. We can only intake cats that are good with people. Please compress video files, they should be under 10mb ALL FILES including photos in total should not add up to more than 1GB together.*

FOSTER FINDER AGREEMENT
We ask all those who request intake to agree/understand the information below. This will apply forany and all cats that you request us to intake into our rescue.

*Please note if you as the finder decide you wish to adopt the cat yourself (or want to adopt to someone you know) after it's already had intake into our rescue it is at the discretion of the rescue. You will have to reimburse for any costs that the rescue has covered and go through our regular adoption process and pay the regular adoption fee.

• You are aware that a cat is only approved to be in our rescue after their intake appointmentand has no major medical, is FIV & FeLV negative and has no behavioral issues (feral, semi-feral, extremely skittish, excessive biting/scratching people). We reserve the right to reversean approval if we find out later the cat has any behavior issues that we were not informed about or were downplayed.

• You are required to take the cat/s to all appointments whether it’s at our rescue or vetpartner. If you can’t you need to make arrangements to have them taken, this will not be upto our volunteers or staff to find them a ride.

• You agree to help fundraise (including but not limited to posting Facebook fundraisers,gofundme etc..) to help with costs of medical care, supplies etc.. or you can donate toward the cost of the cat (minimum $100) in lieu of trying to fundraise.

• You must foster until adopted. If you need a temporary foster because you are gong away etc. you are responsible for finding a temporary foster that is not one of our current fosters. We have limited foster resources.

• The cat must be strictly indoors to be an adoptable cat in our rescue.

• You must send us clear, bright photos and videos when requested in a timely manner.

• You must be available for video calls for potential adopters, we connect you to them to set up a time that works for you both. We will of course ask you for your input on the application after the video call.

• You or someone you find must bring them to transport on transport day when they’re adopted.

• Failure to do any of the above and we reserve the right to remove the cat/s from our program and any costs of medical done to date you are responsible for repayment.

Owner/Stray Animal Surrender Form – Cat Department

I hereby certify that I am the rightful owner/keeper/caretaker/custodian of the animal(s) who is/are the subject ofthis Owner Surrender/Stray Animal form, hereinafter referred to as “the animal.”

I hereby surrender any propertyrights to the animal. I understand that by surrendering my property rights to the animal, the outcome of the animal
will no longer be my decision.

All adult/s (ie married and/or common-law couples) who are considered the owner/s of the animal must sign this form.

For owner surrenders only (if you’re surrendering a stray skip this section and go to stray animal)

I also herby certify that the animal HAS NOT bitten or scratched a human or another animal in the past 10 days.

For a stray animal only – please note that according to the state of Texas if you have been feeding/caring for a stray animal after 36 hours you are considered the “owner” of that animal.

I hereby certify that to the best of my knowledge the stray animal has not bitten or scratched a human or another animal or has bitten a human.

I understand that once I have signed this form and have agreed to have Three Little Pitties rescue take the animal into their program to be adopted that the animal is no longer my property and I can make no claims on the animal.
