GRUENE HERITAGE MARKET VENDOR APPLICATION
PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING STATMENTS BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION
Jury, selection, & payment process:
New vendors must complete this application. Registration does not guarantee you a spot. This is a juried market. Vendors will be chosen on a first come, first served basis and/or by products sold. We will be limiting the number of vendors that make/sell similar items (i.e. jewlery, tumblers, woodworking). This does not include produce vendors.
Once your application is approved, you will receive an acceptance email with detailed rules/regulations, and invoice soon after (Please check your spam folder). Payment is due within 48hrs of being accepted to reserve your spot in this event. Your payment indicates that you have read all rules/regulations/policies and will abide by them. If your application is NOT ACCEPTED, you will be notified. If a vendor is not accepted due to reaching full capacity, they will have the option to be put on a waiting list. If a vendor cancels, no show, (results in loss of booth fee), we will then pull from the waitlist. If a vendor accepts, payment will be due at arrival of show.
Returning vendors do not have to submit another application UNLESS you are introducing new product that was NOT approved on the original application.
For future markets, payment is due at each show for the next upcoming market to reserve you a space. Delay in payment could result in loss of a space due to full capacity or saturation of a particular product.
Rules & Regulations
Vendors are required to provide their own display equipment, tables, chairs, & canopy. Your booth display must be professional (i.e. tablecloths, etc). Vendors may only exhibit and sell product that was listed and approved on their application. Vendors will be responsible for collecting and paying current Texas Sales Tax on all sales made during show. A Texas Sales & Use Tax certificate is required to participate. Vendors must park in designated vendor parking. Do not block anyone's trailer and DO NOT park in customer parking. Inappropriate behavior, destruction of property, slander or defamation of another vendor's product and profanity will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal with no refund. YOU MUST USE WEIGHTS to secure your canopy - stakes are not allowed! Vendors must have (4) 35 lb weights & (6) for double tents. Inclement weather will be considered by the owner and only she will cancel the show IF necessary. Do not discuss problems/issues with other vendors. Please bring all issues up with market management. Any use of lasers or any equipment that exhausts smoke, must have a filter. Generators are permitted if they are quiet. Any complaints of noise or smell, vendor may be moved to the end of row at next market. Teardown is not allowed until 6pm. *Produce vendors who sell out early, are required to stay till 3pm before packing up.
Promotion
We at Gruene Heritage Market are committed to making this event a success! We will use our business's social media pages as well as the city's social media to promote the market. Every vendor will be required to make at least one post the week prior to a show and two posts the week of a show. The advertisement benefits everyone! Make sure you tag GHM in your posts so that we may repost. We'll provide vendors with images to use to promote the event on their own social media.
