Experience #1: Spring – High Performance
This experience mirrors Encounter Sport’s successful format from last year, providing a holistic development opportunity for athletes focused on skill development, leadership, confidence, and character both on and off the ice.
Team Structure:
- One Gold or Silver team per age group (2008-2013) will be formed, provided there are enough players at the competitive level.
- If there is sufficient interest, a second Gold or Silver team may also be considered for each age group.
- These teams will compete in AA/AAA-level tournaments, and players will be selected to ensure each team's success.
- Teams will have full rosters of 16-18 players and two goalies.
Experience #2: Spring - Community
For families looking for less commitment, locally focused league experience, this new format includes smaller teams and play within a structured league, offering a fun, skill-building, and competitive experience. We are partnering with Transcend Athletics to offer this new experience.
Team Structure:
- Smaller teams of 15 skaters and one goalie.
- Teams formed per age group where enough interest is expressed (U11, U13, U15, U18), focusing on skill development and team play in a non-contact environment.
- Teams will be made with the following considerations:
- League parity
- Diverse skill sets on each team
- Friend requests
