All participants using the Highway Church Pool agree to adhere to the following rules of the program.
 
1.     All lap swimming bookings are to be made through the admin officer at highwaypool@outlook.com

2.     You must register your name and sign the registration form.

3.     You must have signed the waiver form releasing the Highway management team of any potential legal liability.
 
4.     You must not swim alone. There must be a minimum of two adults (over 18 years) present at all times.

5.     You must have a personal mobile phone available on the pool deck when swimming.

6.     The pool shall only be used for lap/exercise swimming. No diving is allowed.

7.     Problems regarding the swimming program, including safety issues, breakdowns or other concerns should be directed to Glen Biddle on 0427 971 812.
 
8.     Any participants given keys agree to not pass the key on to others or make copies without prior permission

9.     Keys come with a $5 deposit cost which will be reimbursed upon return of the key to the office.

10.  Must be 18 years or older.

11.  The last swimmers each day will ensure the pool is covered and any lights are switched off and front door locked.

12.  In case of emergency, call 000.
 

I agree to comply with all the above safety rules of this program: 

I, the undersigned, understand and acknowledge that participation in lap swimming/exercise swimming where there is no lifeguard in attendance can be hazardous. I realise that no one should enter into a recreational activity unless one is medically able and that no one should swim alone.
 
I assume all risks associated with this activity, including but not limited to; falls, drowning, contact with other participants, equipment failure, and conditions of the pool. I full understand that it is my responsibility to ascertain if this activity contains elements of risk that could prove harmful to myself and those under my care.
 
I further certify that I am in good health and have no physical or other impediment which would endanger me while participating in this activity. I will not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol which would impair my ability.
 
Having read this waiver and in consideration of the opportunity to use the Highway Church swimming pool, I and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Highway church management team, officers and employees, their representatives and successors from all claims and liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation.
